Our Technology
OmniGuard®
- OmniGuard® fabric is a combination of two unique layers-a PolyKnit™ outer layer and an InnerShield™ membrane-that work along with MiteTight® seams to provide you and your mattress the best in Health, Comfort and Protection.
- The breathable PolyKnit™ outer layer absorbs perspiration and other moisture and wicks it away from the sleeper.
- The waterproof InnerShield™ membrane prevents stains and moisture from reaching your mattress yet allows air to circulate to inhibit the growth of mold, mildew and germs.
- MiteTight™ seams are rolled and stitched to create a virtually impenetrable shield against allergens and moisture.
- Ultra thin and silky soft, OmniGuard® fabric will not alter the comfort of you mattress and will not hinder the temperature sensing properties of memory foam mattresses.
- Chemical free and hypoallergenic. Will not support dust mites or the growth of mold, mildew or bacteria.
- Prevents airborne allergens, such as dust mites, from embedding into the mattress ticking and prevents any allergens in your mattress, such as latex or horse hair, from leaving the mattress and affecting the sleeper.
- Tested extensively by Dr. Phillip M. Tierno Jr., Ph.D., director of Clinical Microbiology and Immunology at NYU Medical Center's Tish Hospital and author of The Secret Life of Germs.
- Wash in hot water and your favorite bleach-free laundry detergent.
- Line dry or air fluff-dry on the no-heat setting in your dryer.
