More and more Americans today are concerned over the growing outbreak of bedbugs in the United States. While no mattress protector can protect your home from a bedbug infestation, we can ensure that by placing a Fabrictech OmniGuard® or PureCare™ Total Encasement on your mattress, box spring or pillow, you will be able to effectively lock bedbugs out of your sleep system. Only total encasement mattress protectors with a locking zipper provide protection against bedbugs, and all of Fabrictech International’s total encasements use sealed seam zippers.

Sealed Seam Zippers:

  • Provide medically recommended protection against bedbugs, Dust Mites, allergens and moisture.
  • “Fabrictech International uses one of the finest if not the finest zipper...”
    * Dr. Philip M. Tierno Jr., Director of Clinical Microbiology & Immunology at New York University Langone Medical Center.

Fabrictech’s OmniGuard® Ultra Total Encasements:

  • OmniGuard® Ultra fabric is completely bedbug proof and provides a clinically proven barrier against bedbug entry or exit.
  • MiteTight™ Seams are bound and sewn to ensure bedbugs, Dust Mites and other allergens stay out.
  • Seams interlock with OmniGuard® Ultra fabric for continuous protection to prevent bedbugs from nesting in mattress ticking.

Bedbug Facts:

  • Bedbugs are small bloodsucking insects that feed on humans & other warm-blooded animals.
  • Bedbugs do not transmit disease. Their bites usually result in swollen red, itchy welts.
  • The adult bedbug is oval and flat. They grow to only about a quarter of an inch long. They are brown, but appear reddish brown after feeding.
  • Bedbugs can go up to a year without feeding.
  • Bedbugs can burrow into seams and hide inside of mattresses and box springs, but can also live in furniture and in between the floorboards. They can nest anywhere there are tiny cracks or crevices indoors, however they search out locations with a close source of food, making the mattress a prime nesting spot.
  • Bedbugs are generally nocturnal, are the most active and feed in the middle of the night.
  • Small red or brown spots on linens or on the box spring are a good indication of an infestation. These spots represent the bedbug’s waste.
